Crochet is one of this seasons biggest trends from beach cover ups to trousers to dresses to co-ords and even accessories such as sun hats and bags.    It  has always been associated with that effortless summer Ibiza style and a boho edge but with a more grown up feel.  Thanks to the fashion houses such as Gucci, Loewe and Etro is is having a huge resurgence.

The light texture makes it the ideal piece for summer layering and I love how versatile and comfortable this fabric is.  It makes the perfect chic holiday piece when worn over swimwear, paired with denim shorts,  or over a slip dress for an evening look.   

My advice is keep your accessories simple and wear with strappy sandals and minimal jewellery.
